CLUB SUPPORT SPORT ENGLAND ROADSHOW

Members of The Great Britain Aikido Squad and the Wakefield Tomiki Aikido Club Junior section supported the Sport England Roadshow at Xscape in Castleford.

The British Squad and Junior members of the Wakefield club were due to give a demonstration of Aikido but unfortunately were unable to perform due to the inclement weather conditions.

Wakefield Head Coach Adrian Tipling explained the art of Aikido and the success of the Great Britain Squad at the recent World Championships in Ohio, USA.

Members of the junior section were also interviewed about their involvement in the martial art and their own success in the Junior national championships and Junior British Open.
