Harmony of Youth Award 2007

The 2007 Harmony of youth award was presented to Luke Fountain at the end of the training session on 15th February 2008.

The winner of the harmony of youth award is decided by the club instructors and is presented to the junior member who they believe has shown a good combination of attendance, conduct, enthusiasm and commitment for the previous year.

When presenting the award, Chief coach, Adrian Tipling, commented on Lukes attendance both at training sessions and in competitions, his conduct throughout the year and his willingness to assist newer members learn the art, not just at the Wakefield club but also at other clubs in the Wakefield region.

Luke said "I was surprised and shocked when my name was announced, I just didnt expect it would be me. I am however pleased that it was."
