History made

Wakefield Tomiki Aikido Club members made history at the recent Junior National Championship competition held at the English Institute of Sport in Sheffield when they won the Team Champions trophy for the first time in 30 years.

All competitors won through to the final stages of their respective age group events (under 8's, 10's, 12's, 14's and 16's).

The team were successful in achieving first place in the under 12's and under 16's age groups.

Best individual trophys were achieved in the under 8's and under 10's age groups.
